Backend Developer (m/f/d)

You want technically challenging web and portal projects in which you can contribute your knowledge and experience? Do you have a good command of Java and furthermore are enthusiastic about modern technologies that you use in the CMS and portal environment?

Wir suchen einen Backend Developer (m/f/d)

These are your tasks:

  • You implement sophisticated Internet portals, corporate websites and web-based applications based on professional content management systems (CMS) and portal environments.
  • You will work independently on the technical implementation of sub-projects, but also together with your colleagues on the large overall project.
  • You participate in the creation of implementation concepts for new (sub-)projects and also propose suitable technologies with the aim of optimizing the quality and efficiency of customer projects.
  • You accompany your self-developed solutions in productive operation, implement enhancements and analyze occurring irregularities that are reported by customers.
  • You actively share your knowledge in projects as well as customer, team and developer meetings and support our junior employees. .

Your profile:

  • You have a degree in computer science or a related technical subject, a technical apprenticeship with a focus on software development, or you can inspire us with extensive experience in software development that you have gained through other means.
  • You have a substantial amount of years of development experience in the web environment, preferably with Java-based enterprise CMS such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or portal environments such as Liferay.
  • You are well versed in Java, Git and modern development environments including CI/CD and test automation.
  • You are also proficient in common client-side web standards such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and technologies based on them.
  • You have a good working knowledge of databases, ideally MySQL/MariaDB.
  • You don't see security and privacy as optional features when developing web applications, but rather lay the groundwork for them in the initial concept.
  • Ideally, you also already have experience with container environments, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • You have strong analytical thinking skills and look forward to the next challenge.
  • You tackle things proactively and distinguish yourself through your independent and structured way of working as well as your enjoyment of working in a team.
  • You bring a strong sense of quality, communication skills and economic thinking.
  • You have fluent written and spoken German and a good command of English.
